Adults quake in fear when they take on this 9-year-old Xbox genius


While most parents try to pry their kids off the Xbox, one New York dad sets his son on a strict schedule of
Halo 3 four nights a week.

"It's practice, not playing," says Victor De Leon, 31, proud papa of LiL Poison, an international icon in the
pro videogame-playing circuit. Victor De Leon 3rd picked up a controller when he was 2 and signed his first
professional contract with Major League Gaming when he was 6. Now 9, the Long Island third-grader easily
decimates cyber athletes twice his age - as he hopes to do in this weekend's MLG Pro-Circuit tournament
at the New Jersey Meadowlands.

"Everyone gets intimidated by him," says De Leon. "They're all like, 'I don't want to lose against a little kid!'"
